Last night, I went to ICC for the Consumer fair part 4. Well, it's definitely better then the CLEX event. So many people went to the fair last night. Saw friends working their ass off serving consumers. TEEHEHEHE. Kacau some of them.

Roadtrip!

Been busy for the past week, witnessed bz's bro's wedding. Will blog bout that later. Yesterday, traveled to Lumut with bz and his parents. we went to visit the baby!!! Haven't seen this cutie for 2 weeks-ish. She has definitely grown and is more active than the last time I saw her.

Soon after that, we went to seria and had our 'lao su fen and kolomee' as our lunch. Not satisfied with it. But the rojak's good though. Then, Yee Kee came and joined us to Miri!

I haven't been to miri for a long time. and wow, Parkson had facelift! So sakai there. But didn't see any shops that catch my eyes instantly. Plus, most shops are vacant.

Had big apple Donuts straightaway after lunch. YUM!

2 years again~

Before May ended, we managed to replace the 2 years anniversary dinner. Thank goodness =) I didn't plan to do it over the last weekend in the first place ( was already hangat hangat tahi ayam, it was a last minute replacement dinner), but bz managed to make me give in and did the dinner last Sunday. It was a success! Teamwork bah. Hehehe With BZ's help, I managed to prepare the meals without any mistakes. As you can see, I'm still a cooking noob, (I failed in melting chocolates 3 times and last 2 week, I realised I dunno how to boil egg. =X IDIOT ME) well he is a noob too. But 100000000000 times better than me.


We had this idea of cooking ourself dinner since Feb, and decided that it is best to do it for our 2 years anniversary which falls on the 4th May. =) But who knows our anni clashes with his exam. So yeah, had a simple supper celebration that day. Was still sweet and nice. Finally, on 31st May *poof* our dinner! The process was fun, we shopped for groceries we argued ways of cooking.

Yeap, just a simple dinner.

We made the pasta rose the night before (sat night), cause it'll saves us a lot of time on sunday/ I was scared that we won't have enough time to prepare other meals. Thankfully, we made it overnight. Cause the next day, managed to finished everything up at seven plus.

It was Janice's birthday, was my 25th monthsary and ... ALSO THE DAY BABY FIQAH (if not mistaken) is born into the world! =D

Was suppose to go KL. When I reached bz's house, his mom told me 'da jie' gonna give birth soon. So yeah, we went to hospital around six-ish. The mommy has been there since noon. Apparently, we need to wait till the uterus contract/ something like that. The atmosphere outside the delivery suite is pretty excited. LOL Only husbands are allowed to go into the delivery suite to give support to their wives.

Nip & Tuck!

As promised, this is my RIPAS post. i guessed most of you have already know that I had operation in RIPAS on 24th May. =) I told only a handful of people. Well, the reason why I went for operation is because i have breathing problems through my nose. 90% of the time it's blocked and I'll have to breathe through my mouth. And my asthma/enzecma problems are related to my nose problem. These nose problems caused me to "snore" and breathe heavily and loudly. (Yeah, I do snore lah) The doctor in RIPAS told me I have deviated septum and something bout concha-bullosa. Don't get those medical terms at all.

Was pretty excited for the operation. Hehehe, I admitted the hospital on Sunday noon. at 3 pm. On Sunday, my mom cooked Penang Asam laksa. Before admitting to the ward, ate 2 HUGE BOWLS of Penang Asam Laksa! Kiasu bah, could have eaten more if there wasn't any operation! After being discharged from the hospital, have been pestering my mom to cook it again. =( She said no... shouldn't eat spicy stuffs. )=

Day 1:

Yeap, I'm admitted to Ward 11 and Bed 18.
Carissa being so nice messaged me asking how am I the day before the operation when I was admitting into the hospital. That's really supportive! And asked if I made any friends yet. -__-"
Yeap, I did! but not on the 1st day.

Brought snacks to curb my sour addiction. =D

So Scary.
That night there's only 3 female patients (including me) sleeping in that space.
The first night I cried myself to sleep. *blushes* I was so scared and let my imaginations run wild ( On saturday night, I watched horror film, okay? Shutter!) The lady next bed to me heard my crying, hehehehe so malu lah. Cause the next morning she came to me assuring me the operation will be fine, ask me to be calm, and more supportive statements. Hahaha, I wasn't afraid of the operation till my name got called to be in the OT. The lady told me it's her 6th operation. Brave kind lady!

Day 2:

Gosh, I wakes up at 5 plus every morning in RIPAS! SO EARLY!!! They have already switched on the damn bright lights at 5! Then the nurses do their ward rounds. At 7-ish, doctors come to do their rounds. They come in big groups like 10 ish. so many people. they stopped by every patient one by one. Kinda embarassing for me. Imagine all the doctors staring at you. Awkward. But they're really nice people. One of my operating surgeon came to me told me not to worry. that's very assuring.

In the morning, my strength of support. =)
I feel really bad for making him to miss out the IM new building opening ceremony where all medical students are required to attend the event. Imagine the things he missed out. =(
I guessed I'm more to him than the Opening Ceremony =DDDD

Yeah! 1st day filled!

Okay, around 9 am plus I got called. =X 2 nurses came by. One male & one female. I was told by the female to remove EVERY undergarments which means no bra and undies. LOL Then I was told to lie down on this other bed, which they'll use to transport you to the OT. The female nurses injected painkiller into my left butt cheek. *OUCH* I moved when she injects me. =( which means more tissues are hurt!

So later on, I was pushed into the OT. Hahaha So sakai back then. When they pushed me into the OT. I got really dizzy looking at the white lights above. Then I started to get nervous. Hahaha It's so like ..... in the movies. Then I got pushed into this room and given a shower cap. I was also poked in my right hand. SO SCARY! The needle so long! I covered my eyes with my left hand. they gave some liquid to nourished my poor dehydrated body ( I fasted after my dinner without any supper/junk and most importantly, water) I was left in the small room for some time to let the packet of liquid watering my body, while waiting, the convo between the surgeons was pretty funny. They were discussing bout vacations places. -___-

Then I got pushed into the OT! OMG OMG OMG The BRIGHT BRIGHT LIGHTS that reminded me of the HUGE LIGHTS AT STADIUM. I saw 3 surgeons, and they transferred me into the operation bed. After that, i was asked to breathe in the 'Oxygen' and fell asleep afterwards. WOOSH, had a good sleep. Not a single pain felt during the operation (duh!)

After the operation, the thingy inserted into my hand.
Oh yeah I nose bleed non-stop for days. Am still bleeding now and then.

The lunch served. No appetite to eat.

Later on at night, my friends visited me! Carissa, Sabby, Safwan, Chen Hui, my sis and her guy!
=) They brought me BALLOON and chocolates. thanks, the choc is nutty, but I do not like the apricot in it. Safwan keeps making jokes. And I can't really laugh atm. -___- So it was pretty annoying.

Was suppose to be discharged on Day 3. But instead got retained back for another night. The doctor removed the cottons that are stuck inside my nose passage. The feeling is HORRIBLE even with aesthetics. Then my nose starts to bleed again.

Day 4:

Finally, I'm allowed to be discharged!

That's the super long needle poked into my right hand. *OUCH*
Almost fainted when i saw it. I hate the feeling of something stuck in my hand. It's so inconvenient. Then everyday, 3 times without fail, the nurses will feed me with saline solution and antibiotics through this little tube.I'm fine with the saline solution, cause can't really feel it. BUT the ANTIBIOTICS hurt like hell. =( Pain pain~ My right hand was swelling on Day 3 and Day 4. The nurse told me if on day 4 I'm not discharged, they're gonna re-poke my hand and change the tube. Luckily, I got the green light to go home. Even when the tube is removed, my hand swelled for days and had blue-black.

I was given this to clean the wounds inside my nose.

It's LONG... The cleaning process is a pain/torture. But BZ does it for me. I have to insert the syringe into my nose with 10 ml solution. The solution has to pass out from three exits, i.e. the mouth and both nostrils. BLEHZ.. The taste is salty. And i'll always sneeze after the cleaning. The first time BZ cleaned my nose, we couldn't stop laughing cause of my expression when inserting the syringe. -____- I feel sorry for boon zhang, at times of unsuccessful cleaning, his face will be splashed by the solution. HEHEHEHEHE

Thank you baby for putting up with my childish manner. =) I'm spoiled by you already.

it was BZ's cousin's wedding! Whoopee~ My 1st time attending wedding in Brunei. Sakai much here. LOL~ Ot's Jean and Siong's wedding. As you see, I'm still recovering. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

After the wedding, we head to bz's fren's (shinbey's) house for movie. Watched a bit of hotel for dogs, but complete shutter movie. Damn scary! My second watching it again. the `st time was with CH when it premiered in Mall Cineplex. Was very traumatized. Now am still. =X
